Mighty Meteorology | Grades K-5

In our Meteorology STEM class, young learners will gain a deeper understanding of weather phenomena and the forces that shape our climate. Students will create a cloud in a jar observing the formation of clouds as warm, moist air rises and cools. This activity introduces children to the process of condensation and the role it plays in cloud formation. Next, our budding meteorologists will conduct a Wind Race Experiment. They'll design, construct sailboats, test their sailboats in different wind conditions, measuring and comparing how far each boat travels. Join us as we set sail into the world of meteorology and explore the dynamic nature of our atmosphere together!
