Welcome to the thrilling world of Oceanography! In this class, we will discover the world's oceans and the important role they play in our planet's ecosystem. Equipped with maps, modeling clay, and bathymetric data, budding oceanographers will embark on an Ocean Floor Mapping Expedition. They'll create 3D models of the ocean floor, identifying underwater features like trenches, ridges, and seamounts. Our junior marine biologists will then dive into the diverse world of marine life with a Marine Life Adaptations Aquarium. Using a variety of materials, they'll design and build model marine organisms, each adapted to specific ocean habitats. In our Oceanography STEM class, children will immerse themselves in the wonders of the deep blue sea, fostering a deep appreciation for the ocean's vastness and its vital role in our planet's health.
