Love STEM? Are you in 5th–8th grade? Then Kids in STEM is calling your name!

Formerly Girls in STEM, this awesome club is now open to all students in our community who are ready to explore, experiment, and dive into the world of science.

This year’s theme is “Germinators: Deep Diving Into the Gross” — a totally fun (and slightly disgusting) journey into germ theory! You’ll discover how germs work, how your body fights them, and what YOU can do to stay healthy and help others do the same. Expect…

 Hands-on experiments
 Games & challenges
 Gross-but-cool discoveries
Big “aha!” moments

We’ll meet twice a month from January through May at the beautiful Stephens College campus (thanks to their generous support!).

The club is FREE, but space is limited — so don’t wait! Grab your spot and get ready for a super fun STEM adventure!

Class Dates:

January 12, 26

February 9, 23

March 9, 16, 30

April 13, 27, 11

*Be sure to check that your school doesn't currently offer a Kids in STEM club, as we are located at 12 schools around the CPS district.
