In this class, animal enthusiasts will embark on a journey to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom and the fascinating creatures that inhabit it. Students will participate in a Bio-inspired Camouflage challenge! Engineers will learn about the world of animal camouflage and apply it to human-made materials. Students will research various animals with remarkable camouflage abilities, then design and create their own camouflage patterns. In addition, students will become zoology engineers for our Animal-inspired Robot Design challenge. They'll research, design and build their own animals that mimic the movements and behaviors of real animals.
